Shipping policy

Krakking Korals ships corals, marine livestock, and aquarium equipment online across Australia. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

Livestock shipping

  • Livestock ships on Tuesdays only.
  • Order cutoff is 12:00 noon Monday (Sydney time). Orders placed after the cutoff ship the following Tuesday.
  • Livestock shipping fee: $39.95 AUD. PO Box delivery incurs an extra $10.
  • No livestock to Tasmania, including copepods and phytoplankton.
  • Requesting a different ship day or a courier we do not recommend voids the DOA guarantee (except airport-to-airport freight arranged with us first).
  • We may delay livestock to the following week (or longer) if public holidays or conditions increase the risk of losses. You may request same-week shipping in those cases, but DOA is forfeited.

Dead on arrival (DOA)

  • If livestock arrives DOA, contact us immediately upon delivery with photo evidence.
  • Remedy is a resend or store credit / gift card (minus shipping), dependent on stock levels — not a cash refund for change of mind.
  • DOA covers the livestock purchase only. Shipping is not refunded.
  • DOA is not available for WA, FNQ, and NT addresses, or addresses not eligible for overnight shipping. If StarTrack estimated transit is more than 1 day, you purchase at your own risk.

Equipment and dry goods (Australia)

  • Shipped Monday–Friday.
  • Fees are based on the calculated weight of items in your cart and may vary.
  • Bulky items may attract additional shipping charges. Krakking Korals may cancel an order or request a higher shipping charge if required.
  • We endeavour to ship the next business day where possible; this is not guaranteed. An alternative courier may be used to keep costs down and may take slightly longer.
  • Mixed carts (livestock + equipment/dry goods): livestock shipping fees apply, plus separate fees for equipment/dry goods. Items may ship on different days.

New Zealand

Dry goods only, from $19.95 AUD flat rate, 8 kg limit. We do not ship corals, copepods, brine shrimp, or phytoplankton to New Zealand.

Large aquarium systems and airport freight

  • Large systems (including many CADE and larger Waterbox tanks) are often limited stock. Freight is by quote and depends on location — contact us before ordering.
  • Airport-to-airport freight: contact us for a quote before submitting your order. Recommended for large orders.

Delays

We use third-party couriers and are not responsible for their delays. We will work toward a fair solution where possible. We may delay shipping if circumstances increase the chance of livestock loss.
