MetaSorb UHC - Two Little Fishies

MetaSorb UHC from Two Little Fishies is a polymer media that binds heavy metals and copper so they stay out of reef and freshwater tanks. The 250 pouch treats tanks up to about 950 L (250 US gal) and removes up to 80 ppm of metals. The 500 pouch treats about 1,900 to 3,000 L (500 to 800 US gal) and removes up to 120 ppm from 500 gallons.

The powder comes in a cloth bag. Put it in a canister filter, hang-on filter, or a high-flow spot in the sump. After a few days, take the bag out, dry it, and reuse it, or discard it. Use it after copper treatment, when mixing new saltwater, or if metals are coming off pumps and equipment.
